Comment:I'm not sure if PC was what the author had in mind. This graffiti is on the wall of a primary school and it's in the area where mostly primary school kids hang out (aged 6-15). I guess it could be that the author simply wanted to write peace in a shorter way but I kind of like the idea - PCs linked with the idea of peace. The age of PCs and the internet has certainly broadened my mind in many ways. I've made many friends from different part of the world who have brought lives and cultures in other parts of the world closer to me - people are people, here, there, everywhere.

Life has definitely changed in last twenty years. Some says for the better some says for the worse. In my opinion the truth is somewhere in between, as always. If I am a bit philosophical I could say that the same things that changed our lives for the better are also the ones that changed it for the worse. For example Internet and technology. All the information, fun, knowledge, etc. just few clicks away. Cool isn't it? But on the other hand, we barely talk to each other. Our communication is basically reduced to e-mail/SMS exchanges, online chatting or phone calls. We chat with a person from a different continent, but we don't know our neighbour. There's no personal contact anymore. Shaking hands, saying a few nice words. You know, the old-fashioned style. The same is true if we look at industrial/economic progress... all that material goods on the one hand and earth pollution on the other. We accumulate more and more material goods and technological gadgets, yet we are more and more alone. I remember they say the Internet will connect the people. It sure does, but it also dehumanizes us.

Make a peace together. In years ago we can make a peace only in local places, but now with modern technology like PC's or internet we can make a global peace together with more people from all around the world.

I don't know if PC means peace. For example you can playvery violent games on PC. What can you say about that? Is that really peaceful? I don't know. Children can easiyl be confused these days, they have truble separating real from imaginary.

When I was young I had plenty of time to do anything. These days when I'm a little older all this technology doesn't help me find any more free time. It's only getting worse, I hardly find the time to go to the bathroom. I don't see any way to get off from the computer.

Please change? Under serious consideration should be... sorry, or...

Hi guys, thanks for posting your views here - loved reading them. We can do, find, see and learn these days so much more than we used to - which is essentially good, isn't it? Perhaps playing violent games is not necessarily bad either, Andrej - I know many nice, gentle souls doing this. :-) Perhaps it helps them release their inner tension this way and so there is no need to do it in their immediate physical surrounding. ;-) True, Edi and Martin, we should not forget that the precious things in our physical lives too need to be nurtured in order to thrive - our friendships, families, bodies and souls.
