| Comment: | This graffiti was written a long time ago, maybe between 1993 and 2001. I believe this graffiti represents my country in a simbolic way. Its message is a bit tough as it says something like: “Clinton, get out of Latinamerica. We'll be like Che”. As you probably know, Ernesto “Che” Guevara was an Argentinian comunist, who leaded the Cuban revolution together with Fidel Castro.
As regards Bill Clinton, his foreign policy was to expand the capitalism to the whole world so as to boost United States' influency over the other countries. The person who painted this graffiti was probably protesting against Clinton's policy, suggesting that we should star a revolution against this North American influence and that we ought to defend our Argentinian heritage. |

I recently watched a movie about el Che, showing his biking trip across parts of South America. A nice movie. Slovenia too used to have a communist regime in the past when still part of what was once Yugoslavia. Che was a very charismatic figure. You can see his name on our walls too.
