| Comment: | Claudio Hugo Lepratti (27 February 1966 - 19 December 2001), known as Pocho Lepratti, was a volunteer who worked in a poor neighbourhood in Rosario, Argentina, and who was shot and killed by the police during a riot in 2001, while he tried to stop police agents from firing at a school. "30,000 Pochos live" is a reference to the 30,000 missing people during the dirty war (1976 to 1983). The ant is an allegory of Lepratti's work. The white kerchief above is the symbol of the Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo. (taken from Wikipedia) |
